Center for Teaching and Learning

Visit us

The Center for Teaching and Learning welcomes colleagues and visitors.

The UW community

The Center’s open space and conference room are available for collaborative conversations, teaching and learning project work and reading. We also use our flexible open space for workshops, brown bag discussions, teaching demonstrations, and other group events.

Conference room 156 supports our mission by providing space for faculty and professional Learning Communities and other teaching and learning conversations. Individuals and small groups (up to eight people) can come by any time, without a reservation, to use our spaces. We are located in Suite 100 of Gerberding Hall, on Red Square. Please drop in, email, call, or reserve a room online. We look forward to seeing you.

Colleagues, community members, and other visitors

The Center welcomes visitors and colleagues from universities within Washington state, other states, and other countries. If you’d like to drop by and see the Center, please do. If you’d like to visit with us to learn more about our resources, programs, and services, please call the front desk at 206-543-6588 or email to schedule a visit.

We are able to meet with you or your group on Fridays between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. If you contact us at least three weeks in advance, we’ll have more scheduling flexibility; try us regardless, however, and we will do our best to find time on a Friday that suits you and your group.

While at the UW, you or your organization might wish to meet with other teaching and learning groups on campus. Below please find contact information for some of our campus partners. Feel free to contact them directly to schedule meetings.
