Past Symposia

The UW’s annual Teaching & Learning Symposium began as the UW Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Forum back in 2003. Initially, the forum consisted of UW faculty, graduate students, and staff who met to discuss their shared interest in examining the effects of their teaching on students’ learning.

By 2008, the UW SoTL Forum had transitioned into the annual Teaching & Learning Symposium. An event where all who shared an interest in the scholarship of teaching and learning could meet to learn about the work their colleagues were doing across campuses.

Each Symposium includes a keynote presentation and two poster sessions. Click on a year below to learn more about past Symposiums.
