Integrating Career-Relevant Outcomes into Your Teaching
April 4, 2023 | 2:30-3:30pm
Nationally, 83.5% of first-year students indicate that “being able to get a better job” is “very important” to their college decision making. The desire for fulfilling, financially-sustainable careers often drives student interest in building career-relevant competencies. In this session, Briana Randall (Director of the UW Career and Internship Center) will explore the link between faculty attentiveness to career readiness and student outcomes. Learn about strategies and see examples from UW faculty that model how to incorporate career competency work into your teaching.
