Registration Information: September 2026
Registration will open on April 22, 2026.
New faculty at any rank, including part-time and affiliate faculty who teach, are invited to register. All participants who register will be enrolled in the Teaching@UW Canvas site for new UW faculty, which will open in early August. Additionally, participants are invited to the program’s live sessions:
- Welcome to Teaching@UW – Tuesday, Sept 8, 9:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m. (Zoom, with live captions)
- Introduction to UW’s Elements of Effective Teaching – Wednesday, Sept 9, 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (in person at the Seattle campus)
Faculty who are unable to attend the live sessions are still welcome to participate in the Canvas site at any time.
Faculty will not need a UW email address to register for the program. However, all participants will need a UW email account to access the Canvas site and Zoom sessions in August/September. Faculty members can reach out to their departments for a sponsored UW email if they do not yet have a UW email account set up.
